Self Concept is an important term for both social psychology and humanism. As someone who has worked in Human Resources for almost 20 years and returning to Grad school to focus on Developmental Social Psychology, I came across an experiment done in 2009 that screamed to me as a Human Resource Director. For instance, the experiment could be performed only on women, or on mixed groups with equal numbers of each sex in them, to eliminate the possibility of biased results from one gender having better average memory than the other.
